Senior Short Video Class

Last weekend, I volunteered to help in the community's senior short video class. Many old people wanted to learn how to shoot short videos, how to edit them, and how to post them on the internet. They wanted to share their life with their children. I helped them learn these things step by step. When an grandpa learned how to make a short video of his garden and send it to his daughter, he was so happy. I felt very happy that I could help them. It also made me realize that it's never too old to learn.

The Joy of Joining the School Speech Club

Joining the school speech club is a valuable experience that helps me become more confident and improve my speaking skills. I used to be shy and afraid to speak in public. To change myself, I joined the speech club last semester. Every Wednesday afternoon, we practice speaking skills together: our teacher teaches us how to express ourselves clearly, how to make eye contact with the audience and how to control our tone. At first, I was very nervous when giving a speech, but with the encouragement of the teacher and classmates, I practiced hard. Now, I can give a fluent speech in front of everyone.
